Sep 29-Sep 30 Tuckerton 30th Annual Ocean County Decoy & Gunning Show. The show emphasizes working and antique decoys, model boats, sneakbox building and waterfowling on the Barnegat Bay. Hundreds of exhibitors display their works or art or merchandise throughout Tip Seaman County park and the Tuckerton Seaport, while friendly competitions and contests take place on picturesque Lake Pahatcong.

Oct 6 Ocean City Fall Block Party and Fireworks Spectacular. 9am–5pm from 5th–14th Streets on Asbury Ave. Over 400 crafters, food vendors, music and more. In the evening, family night entertainment on the boardwalk with fireworks beginning at 9:30pm
Oct 6 Atlantic City Aretha Franklin. Multiple Grammy winner and “Queen of Soul” Aretha Franklin is known for such hits as “Respect,” “Freeway of Love” and “I Say a Little Prayer.” Trump Taj Mahal, 8pm

Oct 13 Atlantic City Philadelphia 76ers Boardwalk Classic. The 76ers will take their game from the city to the seaside in an historic “Boardwalk Classic” match against the Brooklyn Nets at the Boardwalk Hall, at 7pm.

Oct 14 Seaside Heights Seaside Half Marathon and 5k Race. Flat and fast, out and back on the boardwalk and into Island Beach State Park
Oct 20 Atlantic City Jerry Seinfeld. Seinfeld is known for specializing in observational humor, often focusing on personal relationships and uncomfortable social obligations. Borgata, 8pm
Oct 20 Ocean City 3rd Annual Halloween Dog Costume Contest. 10am at the 6th St. practice field. Categories include: Scariest, Cutest, Most Creative, Most Original, Ugliest, etc. We will have 4 to 5 judges to decide the winners. Trophies and snack bags will be awarded. Entry Fee $10 per dog
Oct 21 Atlantic City Atlantic City Marathon. Race festival that includes a half marathon, as well as shorter races in the previous days. Start/finish at Bally’s
Oct 21 Atlantic City All That Glitters Bridal Extravaganza. 12pm at The Pier Shops at Caesars. Hosted by Divine Elegance By Deirdre. Award winning event designer Preston Bailey will make a celebrity guest appearance and be signing books. Also at this luxury bridal showcase, free for brides and grooms, guests will witness first-hand breathtaking couture runway and will have the chance to win a honeymoon.

Oct 27 Stone Harbor Harvest Festival. 10 AM – 5 PM, hayrides on the beach, costume party, farmers market, entertainment and more
Oct 25-Oct 27 Tuckerton Haunted Seaport. Pirates and sea captains long lost at sea stroll the boardwalk for a night of screams. Haunted Tucker’s Island Lighthouse, hayrides, phragmites maze, food, refreshments, entertainment and a non-scary pumpkin patch for the little ones
Oct 27 Wildwood Wildwoods Boardwalk Pumpkin Run. 5K & 10K run along with a 1 mile family walk, starting at 10am. Participants are encouraged to dress in their favorite Halloween costumes

Nov 16 Atlantic City Megadeth. Dave Mustaine has personally overseen a new 20th Anniversary Edition of the band’s most popular album, 1992’s double Platinum-certified “Countdown to Extinction,” to be released on Nov 6. Megadeth will perform the acclaimed album in its entirety. House of Blues, 7pm

Dec 7 North Wildwood Greater Wildwood Jaycees Christmas Parade. Parade begins at 7 pm at 15th & Central Ave in North Wildwood, then continues South on Pacific Aven through Wildwood to Heather Rd in Wildwood Crest, then ends at the Wildwoods Convention Center. Watch a festive line-up of floats, firetrucks and other creatively decorated vehicles

Dec 14-Dec 16 Ocean City 2012 Holiday Spectacular. Come rock around the Christmas tree as a cast of professional singers and dancers celebrate the season with a fully-staged musical revue of Holiday hits. High-energy choreography, spectacular costumes, unbelievable talent and a phenomenal set all come together on the Music Pier stage

Feb 22 Atlantic City The Who. Legendary rock band The Who reunites at the Boardwalk Hall to perform rock opera Quadrophenia plus other classic Who songs. Original members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townsend will be joined by Zak Starkey, Pino Palladino, Simon Townsend, Chris Stainton, Loren Gold and Frank Simes
